Captain Cove’s Virtual Birthday Party

Happiest of Birthday’s to Captain Cove who had a Virtual Birthday Party with four of his friends last weekend. Our party host, Captain Sally, assisted the kids with bringing their new bear friend to life. The crew went on many wild adventures as they travelled the seas with their new bear friends. 

Captain Sally explained to the young captains that the bear that she was making was going to be given to a sick child in hospital. The children were so excited and named this bear Riccardo. The children had an opportunity to share their stories about when they had been sick in the past and how having a close cuddly friend with them helped them feel better.

The party fun continued as they took Riccardo on his first adventure, travelling across the seas and finding treasure along the way. It was a wonderful adventure filled with laughter, stories and entertainment for both parents and children. 

 A special “thank you” to Captain Cove and his friends, for choosing to go on an adventure with Captain Sally for your party, and we hope you continue to bring your new bear friends on many more adventures. Captain Sally is so excited to bring Riccardo to Heart Kids so they can gift it to a child who is undergoing heart surgery.
