Be A Hero For HeartKids Day, Communities Joining Forces

Captain Marvel Tania, Wonder-Woman Connie and Business with A Heart Special Bear Friend Spider-Bear

Founder of Business with A Heart, and NSW Ambassador for HeartKids Charity, Tania Mastroianni- travelled across Sydney to share her Heart story and raise awareness for people in the community living with a Congenital Heart Disease. Today is a day to celebrate people like Tania who live every day with a heart condition and inspire the community with her courage and resilience.

With an early start in Manly at The Cove Espresso by Schibello, Captain Tania gathered many local superheores including Wonder-woman, Bat woman and special mascot Spider-Bear- to interact with locals and share the amazing work of HeartKids Charity. With money being donated and Special Bear Friends being sponsored by businesses and individuals, the Northern Beaches Community had a fun and lively morning.

Our superheroes journeyed to Belgrave Cartel finding Superman and Hulk making coffees and serving breakfast. Captain Marvel and Wonder-woman were put to work in the café and were fortunate enough to meet another Heart Kid living in the Northern Beaches. The amazing support from these businesses was incredible and it’s great to see so many businesses reaching out to support and sponsor special bear friends for these children under-going heart surgery.  

Tania’s passion and vision to raise awareness didn’t stop on the Northern Beaches. Captain Tania flew to Centrum Group in Chipping Norton to find more amazing superheroes dressed up working in the printing factory. Huge thanks to Centrum Printing who are ongoing sponsors of Business with A Hearts Special Bear Friends, and their amazing support raising funds that are given directly to the HeartKids Charity. 

There is no limit to how people can donate and get involved. Whether it’s donating directly to HeartKids Charity or Sponsoring a Special Bear Friend- everyone has the chance to make a difference to those living with a Congenital Heart Disease. Huge shout out to the businesses who have opened their hearts to give and make a difference.
