Christmas Bear Drop-Off

Spreading Joy During The Festive Season

During this festive season, Santa Bear and our Founder Tania travelled across NSW to bring joy and happiness to sick children in hospital. It has brought our team excitement and gratitude hearing the stories of some families that received their bears during this time.

With our first stop being Randwick Children’s Hospital, we received a lovely message from a family whose child had been in hospital for 9 weeks. The gift of a sponsored bear by an Individual meant the world to them during this difficult time.

The next stop for Santa Bear was to The Westmead Children’s Hospital, where Santa bear had the opportunity to meet the Doctor’s and Nurses that look after the children in the Cardiac Ward. It was a significant visit for all involved, as Tania and a few Doctors and Nurses had the chance to reconnect and share stories of success and growth.

As Santa Bear was preparing his next lot of presents for the hospital, Tania and Lina (Tania’s Sister) drove to Gosford Hospital for our first drop-off of bears. We received a lovely message from one of the parents whose 17year old daughter received a bear and shared how it has brought her so much joy and happiness.

These stories and the opportunity to bring Christmas cheer and New Year joy to these vulnerable communities has been so rewarding. Thank you to all our sponsors who helped us bring joy this festive season, and we encourage everyone to join our Sponsoring Program to ensure every child receives a bear this year.
