Official Launch with Benchmark Events
What better way to network in style then at the exquisite venue, Sergeants Mess! We are proud to announce that Business with A Heart has officially launched with thanks to Benchmark Events!
The event celebrated International Women’s Day, and held a fundraiser where some of the profits were donated to HeartKids Charity and The Starlight Children’s Foundation. Plus through our Business Sponsorship Packages, over 100 Bears were sponsored and will be given to HeartKids Charity.
With many inspirational men and women in the room, we were fortunate enough to hear an empowering talk from Women Empowerment Coach, Anne McKeown , and gain further insight into the HeartKids Charity from the CEO Fiona Ellis.
However the true inspiration of the evening was our founder Tania Mastroianni. Tania took guests on a journey sharing her story and vision of the Business Sponsorship Packages and the impact of the Special Bear Friends. Guests said “we were brought to tears and gained insight into how Congenital Heart Disease not only impacts the person, but their families as well”.
Tania expressed how important a bear friend is for all children in hospital saying that, “your bear friend always stays and keeps you safe. As a child you put your faith in that bear, and in the most vulnerable moments of your life that bear gives you a sense of security. You and your family always remember the bear and more importantly who gave it to you”.
With new insights into the joy and happiness a Teddy Bear Friend gives to both the sick child and their family, our bears started to walk out the door 🧸 We are proud to announce our first major Sponsors for the Promotional bear program- Clean & Green Organics Pty Ltd, Affogato by Chill Bar and the Mamma Lena Foundation. Huge thanks to people who individually sponsored a bear that evening, you all will be making a significant difference in the lives of Sick Children and their family.
