Thanks to the Rio Tinto Iron Ore Finance Business Partner Mangers Team, more Special Bear Friends were made and given to sick children in Perth Children’s Hospital.
We wrapped up an incredible team building day at Rio Tinto’s Head Office in WA, and we couldn't be more excited to share the experience! This incredible team came together to build Special Bear Friends (teddy bears) for the children at Perth Children's Hospital, and the energy was nothing short of inspiring ⭐️
Team members strengthened their bonds, and created something special that will touch the hearts of children in need. Each bear represents love, hope and the spirit of giving back to vulnerable communities.
Hearing from inspiring keynote speaker, Tania Mastroianni, survivor of 8 Heart Surgeries, a stroke at 6 months old, and now lives with a permanent pacemaker. Tania shared heartfelt and inspiring stories, highlighting the positive impact that Special Bear Friends have had on thousands of children and families across Australia who have received them.🧸
Bears were delivered to Perth Children’s Hospital the following day, bringing joy and happiness to the children undergoing medical treatment and fighting for their lives.
